Realtor Postcards

In today's real estate market, it's vitally important for realtors, real estate agents and mortgage brokers to keep their names in front of prospects. Designing, printing and mailing postcards is a proven technique for real estate marketing.

Any photographs, whether of yourself, your office or a property you represent, need to be high-resolution (at least 300dpi). Most digital cameras are not equipped for such high-resolution shots, so don't use a snapshot or other casual photograph. Be sure your personal photo presents you as well-groomed, cheerful and successful.

Current printing technology allows you to change your postcards frequently, so don't be afraid to send specifically targeted postcards every four weeks. Even if you have a good internet presence, be sure to give potential customers something they can hold on to, put up on the refrigerator or tuck into a drawer for future reference. It will be much easier for them to find you that way than to remember your name and do a Google search.

To add a warm touch to your realtor postcard, jot a line - even if it's just “hi” - so that potential customers know you've made the effort to personally reach out to them. The payoff may not come today or tomorrow, but keeping your name in front of property owners will undoubtedly result in more business. And postcards are a effective, convenient way to accomplish this.
